रेल यात्रियों] रेल परिसर तथा रेल सम्पत्ति को बचाने में अपराधियों के विरूद्ध निरन्तर संघर्ष जारी रखेंगे।

यात्रियों के बेहतर सुरक्षा के लिए असामाजिक तत्वों को रेल परिसर एवं यात्री क्षेत्र से दूर रखेंगे।

महिलाओं और बच्चों में तस्करी को रोकने के लिए सतर्क रहें और रेलवे क्षेत्रों में पाए जाने वाले निराश्रित बच्चों के पुनर्वास के लिए उचित कार्रवाई करें।

भारतीय रेल की छवि एवं कार्य कुशलता में सुधार लाने के लिए रेल के अन्य विभागों के साथ सहयोग करेंगे।

राजकीय रेलवे पुलिस@स्थानीय पुलिस और रेल प्रशासन के बीच कड़ी के रूप में कार्य करेंगे।

इन उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए तत्पर रहकर आधुनिक संसाधनों को अंगीकृत कर सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानवाधिकारी  आचरण   कौशल तंत्र से महिलाओं] वृद्ध यात्रियों व बच्चों की सुरक्षा के लिए विशेष उपायों का अनुपालन करेंगे।

OBJECTIVES
We shall

vCarry on unrelenting fight against criminals in protecting Railway passengers, passenger area and Railway property.

vFacilitate passenger-travel and security by removing all anti-social elements from trains, Railway premises and passenger area.

vRemain vigilant to prevent trafficking in women and children and take appropriate action to rehabilitate destitute children found in Railway areas.

vCo-operate with other departments of the Railways in improving the efficiency and image of the Indian Railways.

vAct as bridge between the Government Railway Police/Local Police and the Railway administration.

vAdopt proactively all modern technology, best human rights practices, management techniques and special measures for protection of female and elderly passengers and children, in the pursuit of these objectives.
